Our breakfast in Midelt took the prize as the most abundant, which is saying a lot as we ended breakfast each day ready to burst.

Immediately after breakfast we headed out to continue on our way up to Mèknes
We stopped off near Azrou at a picnic pit stop to visit the Barbary apes. It is not really official, but the monkeys congregate here because they know they are guaranteed food.
They took peanuts right out of our hands.
Jaxon wanted to help out and set to picking up garbage. However, he quickly found out that the monkeys were quicker about getting into the gargage and throwing it all out than he was throwing it in.

We arrived at our next Riad in the early afternoon.
After our welcome tea we headed out to scavange food in Méknes. We opted for a little unmarked home-turned restaurant mom-and-pop place. Which turned out to be a great choice.
