Christmas Eve at the Dead Sea

Okay, so technically it was Christmas Day, but Daniel and I had made the executive decision to push Christmas back a day as we knew that the place that we would be staying would be nicer. The kids were none the wiser. Leaving Eilat, we headed up to the Dead Sea, which Jaxon had insisted that we visit.

And yes, you really float!

Evaëlle and Jonas stuck more safely to the beach.

Next we acted out the Nativity story. Here was the manger. We had to do a do over as Jonas insisted on being baby Jesus and baby Jesus was downright out of control the first time around. But a few threats whipped him into shape and the second time went relatively smooth.
