The next day we took Rick, Ty, Austin and Andrea to one of our favourite places in the world, the calanques. Unfortunately upon arriving we learned that they were closed off due to the dry spell we had be having and the consequent fire risk. So we headed to the beach in Cassis. There we decided to rent some kayaks to get into them. I ended up staying back with Jonas and Evaëlle at the beach while Daniel, Rick, Ty, Andrea, Austin and Jaxon headed out into the sea on their kayaks.
Apparently they had a good, if exhausting time. We were all awed by Andrea, who kept up with the best of them even at five months pregnant.
