Oceanarium

The next morning we headed out to the Oceanarium, supposedly the largest aquarium in Europe. We first hit up the sea turtle temporary exhibit.

The kids especially loved the aquarium floors. Jonas would follow about the sea turtles and chant, "Riding on a sea turtle! Riding on a sea turtle." Evaelle was a little apprehensive at first, but quickly got used to walking on water.

Eva was so enthralled by everything around her. She had this look of amazement as she watched all the fish, sharks, and manta rays swim by. One thing is clear, she isn't an oblivious baby anymore! It is so much fun to watch her discover the world around her for the first time.

Next we headed to the compete opposite side of Lisbon to Belem.

Jonas found this little mouse hiding in the wheel. Of course it deserved a picture.

Jonas had a new look by the afternoon after Jaxon broke his sunglasses. He wasn't bothered, though. He like the new style and got some positive feedback on it from some teenagers.
Getting some Pastilles de Belem, delicious custard pies. This is their supposed birthplace. You always have to wait the line. 

A picnic dinner and dessert.
