Belgrade day 2

We walked to a huge church on the other side of town which is still under construction.
We got popcorn for breakfast...the kids were so happy that their dad had such an awesome idea.
Then the games began to catch the popcorn in their mouth.

We then went to a big park in Belgrade where the locals hang out on sunny days.

They had some original toys

Jaxon just washing his hands...
They had a blast spraying eachother to cool off.

Waiting for the boat tour by the river.

All aboard!  Eva is ready to go.

The river was 12 feet up so houses along the shore were flooded which made the tour pretty lively.

The food in Serbia is amazing and we ate really well that evening after a day of popcorn, wafers and dried fruits.

Welcome to Belgrade

This year for Pont d'Assension we went on a long weekend trip to Belgrade Serbia.  When we told people where we were going, there were like, "what????"  but we had a great time and really enjoyed it.  Eva played with the camera and deleted most of the pictures.  We had a long talk with the Serbian lady--all in Serbian where she told us a lot of things and we just smiled and nodded.
We went down to the river and walked along.  Eva loves her "bubba" (brother)

We rented a bike for the whole family and had a wild ride around town.

Eva loved it
There was a huge flood just a few days before we arrived.

walking on the sand bags used during the floods.
We didnt eat all day so were really excited to find a restaurant for dinner.

We hiked up to a tower on top of a hill with a nice view.
Jonas expired in Eva's stroller which made the hike up a good workout.

Ice cream for everyone.  Eva loves having her own.
